How I discovered PSYCH-K®

As a single parent becoming an “empty-nester” in my late fifties, I found myself looking for ways to be happier and experience less drama in this new chapter of my life. For many years I lived with high levels of anxiety as well as depression. Now I was determined to find a way to discover more peace and joy in life with a greater sense of fulfilment.

I recognised that I wanted to work in the field of self-empowerment, so I gained an accreditation as a Law of Attraction Life Coach. I also discovered the benefits of meditation and became intrigued by the concept that our brains have the ability to change. I was excited to learn through many books about brain plasticity, epigenetics and the significance that perception plays in shaping our life experience. At 60, I took up yoga and began a regular practice which I love.

All of these things helped me enormously at the conscious level of mind. However, I still felt there was something stopping me from moving forward with how I wanted to be living my life. When I read about the emerging field of energy psychology in the book The Biology of Belief by Dr Bruce Lipton and, more specifically, the practice of PSYCH-K®, I knew I had to find out more. I was so surprised and excited to discover that workshops were available in Brisbane where I live and have since completed the Basic, Advanced and Master Facilitator levels as well as the Health and Wellbeing Program.

Discovering this gentle and respectful way to change our perception of reality, transform stress and create new subconscious beliefs has truly been a life changing experience for me. I use it daily in my own life. It has limitless applications. When something new comes up that causes stress or concern, I am able to recognise it and address it with PSYCH-K®. We have a process which allows us to access our ability to change our perception of a stressful situation to one of peace and non-attachment. To reinforce the change we can then create new supportive subconscious beliefs instantly. The subconscious mind is very powerful and at least 95% of the time it is controlling our life as we go about our day engaged in thought. So it is vital that we have it working for us and not holding us back.

I love PSYCH- K® and I know that it works! I have experienced significant change including greater self-confidence and self-worth, better relationships, an inner sense of peace and ease within my body. I’ve also helped many other people as well as you will see in the comments by some of my clients.
